Three artist friends, Yang En-sheng, Lin Pang-soong, and Zhou Gang, with the generous sponsorship of collector Wayne Hsu, embarked on a documented journey across China’s Silk Road with Loftyart’s Richard MC Chang and Elaine Suyu Liu. From the ancient capital of Xi’an of Shaanxi Province, the journey crossed the Gobi desert and passed the end of the Great Wall of China, to the final destination at Dunhuang of Gansu Province. Capturing the spirit of the Silk Road, the link between East and West, the paintings, sketches, and various mediums created along the way are wholly presented here at Loftyart Gallery.
